PEOPLE & PLACES

Our Story

Whether you're camping with friends or strangers, the shared experience of being in nature and disconnecting from the outside world can bring people together and create a sense of belonging.

The Name

In Hebrew, Bayis means house or home. We believe that a home is more than just a physical space – it's a feeling of warmth, security, and love. Our community strives to create this feeling for all of our members, whether they are new to camping or experienced veterans. Bayis is a place where everyone is welcome, and where we work together to create a sense of home away from home. Whether it's around the campfire, on a hike, or simply spending time in nature, we believe that Bayis is more than just a community – it's a family.

Vision

Our vision is to create a camping community that fosters a sense of connection, adventure, and love for the natural world. We believe that camping has the power to bring people together and create lasting bonds, while also inspiring us to take action to in our lives. Through shared experiences in the great outdoors, we hope to create a community that is inclusive, supportive, and dedicated to making a positive impact in the world. Whether it's exploring new places, learning new skills, or simply enjoying the beauty of nature, we envision a community where people can come together to find joy, purpose, and fulfillment in the camping lifestyle.
